The funny thing is, the framework already exists. If you use Prepare Carefully, you can totally set relationships between family members. Go for that Oedipus space victory run.

It would be very limited though considering pawns don't reproduce and the chance that your random pawns are in some way related is very small. Gotta use mods for that mate. I can confirm it exists.

uhm... i know that. Incest is already in the game, i said a MEME for the NEW dlc would be cool.

I know. But for it to have any impact at all you're going to need mods because at the moment the game itself effectively doesn't.

This is already a part of the mod that shall not be named. As are a certain extension to "Animal Personhood" and other questionable mechanics. That's really the correct place for those things to live.

It does have an impact currently, a pretty strong negative one. It's not that uncommon unmodded and when it happens all other colonists have a pretty strong negative opinion toward those pawns (up to like -30). It is the sort of thing I kind of expected a meme to touch upon as it's sort of the "cannibalism" of relationships in the game.
