Were dromedaries nerfed ?
Dromedaries used to be the saving grace of the arid biomes because if I remember correctly they were the only animal capable of producing milk and wool while still being excellent pack animals and easy to tame to boot. Were they nerfed ? Their description mentions "its wool and leather", but they don't seem to be growing harvestable wool anymore.

I'd be a bit disappointed if so, because they were one of the central early game resource for tribes starting in the desert/arid shrubland biomes (and I enjoyed a few runs of playing a nomad crafting/trading bedouin tribe playing around dromedaries), not to mention that they were barely holding the comparison to alpacas even when they were still producing wool.

Probably yes, if I remember muffalos used to pruduce bluefur and milk, but they had to nerf them because they were too OP. I think the general rule of thumb is that animals only produce one primary good, textile, milk, or protection/hauling.

They weren't specifically nerfed, it's more like animals were made less general. This happened a few updates ago, secondary resources were removed and their primary resource was buffed, and then 1.3 buffed primary resources even more to bring most animals into some balance.

Alpaca's produce wool and are the worst pack animal in the game. (Lowest carry weight and speed)
Dromedaries produce milk and are mid-line pack animals.
Horses do not produce any resources and are the best pack animals.
