Removing anything non-related to the medieval era.
Hello guys, so i've been using this mod called ''faction expanded - Medieval'' and it is a really great mod, but as i receive quests, the quest rewards contain modern weaponry and armour and such.

Is there any mod to completely disable every single thing that is not related to the middle ages for both myself, AI and quest objectives/rewards?

Thanks in advance

If you start a game using the storyteller that comes with the Vanilla Factions Expanded: Medieval, he hard limits the maximum tech to medieval. If I remember right, that should limit quest rewards, too.

Is it still possible to change the parameters once i started a game?

With regards to the limit on technology? Sort of. You can give yourself forbidden techs using dev mode, but you can't research them.

If your question is if you can change to the Medieval-only storyteller, I believe the answer to that is yes. There is a button in the options you can access from within a loaded game. This may not retroactively change things, though, so existing tech may still persist.

Same problem here and I'm using the correct storyteller (Maynard Medieval). Everything else is fine but the game keeps proposing futuristic rifles and orbital bombardments as quest rewards.

This kinda ruins the medieval gameplay feeling.

I use remedieval and medieval overhaul in additional to VE medieval and Maynard as the storyteller. In addition I use total control to make each faction have their kind of own medieval gear (So they don’t turn up in parkas or whatever). There’s also a mod for removing technojunk from the map. You still get neuroformers, psytrainers, and body parts occasionally, but that’s it. Even the shuttles and crashing pods are replaced by some kind of steampunk medieval stuff.

One downside: it’s hard to find things to buy!

EDIT: I also use the medieval overhaul: empire mod, which is an add on that outfits the empire appropriately.

Like this?
This is the closest thing available to a solution. The problem is that this mod doesn't increase chances to get medieval/viking/neolithic gears and weapons.

It is a nice fix to strange tech stuff anyway
