Quadrums and seasons: CAN you be certain which lands where?
Ok, Im lost. One would THINK decembuary would be winter, and Aprimay spring, juagust summer, and septober fall. BUT, seems its either opposite day for seasons and the combined month names...or the timing is literally true random, thus impossible to put.

Especially with ideology in place now, it makes it VERY hard to set an ACCURATE date for christmas

You can be certain, it's based on what hemisphere of the planet your colony is in just like real life. Northen hemisphere works as you were expecting, southern hemisphere is of course the opposite.

You'd be surprised how many people in real life don't realize this either ^^

So, if its a cold snap in the north, its a heatwave in the south basically?

cold snap and heat wave are events, not seasons.

No. A cold snap and heatwaves aren't seasons. They can happen at any time. It's nice having a heatwave in the winter. More planting time.
