Issue with wardening/recruiting prisoner
So this is a version 1.2 install without Royalty or Ideology, but with quite a few mods, most of them are part of the Vanilla Expanded Framework though there are a few others including PrisonerRansom.

I have a prisoner in my colony, I want to recruit him. Problem is, neither of my assigned wardens seems to want to talk to him, even though I have him set to "reduce resistance" on the Prisoner tab. They will still drop food off at his cell but they won't talk to him, build rapport, or otherwise do anything else. Also, the option to "chat" with him doesn't show up when I right-click to try and force the job.

Both my wardens have high Social skills, and should, in theory, be able to do this.

If I select "Release" or "Execute" then they will release him or kill him just fine.

Bit of an issue with expansion if I can't get prisoners to join. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sounds like it might be an issue with that ransoming mod, because recruiting prisoners was working just fine for me in 1.2 yesterday with all the VE stuff loaded up. Maybe check the Steam page for that mod and see if anyone else is complaining about it being borked in 1.2 (if it's been updated to 1.3)?

It sounds like your prisoner was a Wild Man. You have to tame them, regular prisoner recruiting doesn't work on them.

Nope, he was part of a bandit raid. My colonists downed him and brought him to jail before patching him up.

Removed PrisonerRansom mod, issue still persists in current savegame. Not really in the mood to try and create a whole new game just to troubleshoot this one issue.
