So is there any way to rotate bed assignments or just keep them open if your ideoligion allows for multiple partners and free/approved love? My polycules should be allowed to pick and choose who they want to cuddle with each night instead of being stuck with an assigned bed and taking a mood hit. Or do I need a mod for that?

I read in the latest update notes that as long as they were in the same room they wouldn’t get the slept alone debuff. Was this post update? Also, what happens if you don’t assign beds?

Pretty sure I have the most recent update. Currently have throuples sleeping in the same room. The one sleeping alone gets "slept alone", the one sleeping with her fiance doesn't, and the guy who is sleeping with one fiance also has "slept alone" even though he didn't. But the opinion boosts are great so I suppose that counteracts it (?). If i don't assign beds, they just become owner once they sleep in it... i was hoping maybe unassigning them would let them shuffle as needed but they get bound to the bed as soon as they use it again.

It's not quite so simple to solve the "problem". Even if one pawn with two partners were to be able to share a three-person bed, if the two partners are not also partners with each other they're going to be upset about sleeping with a non-partner. So unless you get all involved pawns to be involved with everyone else, a larger bed wouldn't really solve anything.

Having multiple spouses will require some more thorough reworking if it's to be as autonomous as the traditional single spouse dealio. For now, it's a micromanagement thing, which may be okay for some people and not okay for others.

If there is a way to decouple ownership with sleeping arrangement for multiple spouse/fiance situations, that'd be nice. I don't "need" there to be a cuddle puddle room to make everyone happy but if pawns would at least sometimes share a bed with the other wife/husband that'd be alright. Like if they could decouple ownership from forced bed requirements when the social tab includes more than one spouse. Possibly just as simple as a D10 in the math to choose a bed weighted by who is or isn't sharing a bed with a different significant other at the moment. The math is probably more complicated than that.
