Are they doors you built, or are they doors that were there at the beginning of the game? If they are from the beginning, make sure to claim those doors. Un-claimed doors are free to pass for both animals and raiders.
Or are you talking about the animals sneaking out when one of your pawns goes through? If so, you could build a small "airlock" of fence gates. I put one of those near all exits to my compound, just as a easy, cheap prevention in case something else happens to the main pen.
Not sure what else it could be. Perhaps a screen shot or something...
Ah! Glad you got it sorted!
It depends on the type of animal. Pen animals (horses, donkeys, ducks) will only go through animal flaps on their own. They can be led through doors by pawns. Some animals (guinea pigs, hares, boomrats, e.g.) - any that can be assigned areas - and will go through doors on their own subject to area control. (Just learned all this today myself.) LOL.
On the other hand, people searching the forums for a question like that and stumbling on this thread will now actually find a solution and don't need to start their own thread.
I mean, most people won't do a search and just start another thread anyway, but maybe it helps a little.
