Yep, done and done. I selected the tanky type and one of my colonists is bonded to the tree and pruning it all the live-long day and nada. :-(
Yes, tried that. I have an inside 'safe zone' I put all my non-combat pets when raids occur and the dryads are having none of it, the daft wee buggers. They won't stay in the areas I tell them to.
Figured it out on accident by right clicking around the tree like a maniac and seeing the message that my tender "couldn't prioritize" the work because she wasn't assigned to it. Weird that it's not under Plant Cutting instead of Basic, but this fixed it and the immature dryads immediately cocooned.
