not letting me build stuff in structure menu

when i try to place a wall it does not place it. it also does not let me choose the resource to build it with, and when i click on the structures option it doesent let me move using my mouse.it happened one time yester day and then stopped but today it wont stop, is this a bug?

This usually happens when you don't have any type of resources required to build a wall. Make sure you have enough, they are reachable and allowed (preferably inside stockpile but that's not necessary).

i had alot of steel, do i need wood for it to allow me to build a wall?
the same thing happened when i tried to make a new colony.

you can change the material type for objects that can be made with different materials by right clicking on it. Walls default to wood (I think), but there are several other options available.

Bug with the "replace stuff" mod I believe, it happened to me, turned off the mod, now I can build. It is indeed a bug, check patch notes.

i saw that it was happening to people with the replace stuff mod but i dont have it installed
also i when i clicked on it it didint give the option to change the material

Do you have any other building related mods? it could help folks narrow it down

and now im experiencing another bug, when i try to make a new world and it generates the world it keeps the screens from before you make it but you can see the world behind it, i have to keep pressing back to get to the world to make the colony but after i choose my people and it loads it says it had trouble loading

i dont think have any building mods, unless the 40k space marine ones are affecting it

I guess dragable corners is causing issues as well if you have that mod. Just seems like this patch fcked a lotta stuff up for people, Im hesitant to start a new game

i dont have draggable corners either but the planet thing might of been from the patch but the building thing happend yesterday aswell

Love how people are too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid to read the patch notes and use highly modded setups on brand new updates. Mod "Replace Stuff" is broken. As the devs literally put at the top of the latest build notes.

if you quit and check there should be an update queued to revert this patch, Tynan has backed it out as it was causing a few issues.

there are people doing moddless runs that are having bugs as well, im hesitant to start a new run at all
