Styling station bug
Some of my colonist have a bug with the station, they will get a dye, apply it and then start over again. I just wanned to see what other pleople have found out about it.

Seems to happen only on modded gear that was on a none colonist pawn. (like recruited pawns)

So purchased vanilla clothing dyes fine.
Home-made modded and vanilla clothing dyes fine.

My women all end up with beards. But I'm pretty sure this is all down to using Prepare Carefully mod. I find it bizarre that the core game wont let me make my own Avatar.
Anyway, it's clear that the styling station is clashing with mods.

I'm not even using any mods and the station is broken for me. Every time a pawn gets the "wants to change styles" mood they go to a station and just restyle themselves forever. They do it until they collapse, then get up and do it again. They might have a mental break, but then they'll just go back to cutting their hair again, generating a huge pile of it around them on the floor.

The only solution I've found so far is to remove the stations entirely.

My pawns designated with a role (leader, moral guide, etc.) go in the infinite loop as well. Have to uninstall my station after I'm done changing things up.

Make sure you have an option to be beardless, you can alter ideologies mid game with the dev tool. (in the ideology tab)

What if you manualy oped for a style change? does it bring up the window? It should say in the top left of that tab what needs to be changed for them to be happy. dont think they can or should do it on their own. I had a raider that i converted and he had spike/punk looks but did not wanne be like that with his new faith.

Im still waiting on a trader to see if bough + modded items do work or not.
I had to use character creator to and select the pawn and change her facial hair to "no beard". She had an invisible beard apparently. As funny as it was, this is a bit of a game breaker lol. No idea what causes it.

This has just happened to me too, but I do use mods. She wanted a hairstyle change so I built the styling station and chose a new haircut. When she went back and started trying out new styles I assumed that she'd choose one that is more suitable for her religion or something, but she just kept cutting it and cutting it for hours and the floor was completely covered in hair, it really looked like she was having a breakdown but without any mood debuff. I drafted her up, undrafted her, she started cutting her hair again. So I changed her hair back to a cuter style and then had to keep her drafted up while someone else dismantled the styling station.

While selecting the new hairstyle, I noticed that the preview was not updating to the style I selected, but that could have been caused by a mod I guess, and otherwise it was working fine. I have not tried dyes yet.

As of now any Devilstrand clothing canNOT be dyed. all other cloth/leathers can.
Got a genie that joined that wants any hair but bald but since she's bald no hair shows up to offer xD Good stuff...
