Relic Info?

So I've just received a quest after learning about one of my Ideologies relics. It gave me 10 days to collect information (5 Relic Info) about it and told me to "Watch for opportunities"

I've waited 5 days so far and not seen or heard anything.. I'm doing something wrong, right?

You get sub-quests to find more details, so it depends on how often you get quests - both the storyteller and the AI will affect this. Your first quest should come within those 10 days, then you'll get another amount of time to find more info, and so on.

The main relic quest shouldn't have any time limit, and there's no time limit to accept the sub-quests, but after you accept them some of them have time limits. Make sure you click the accept button next to the relic item, I somehow blanked on that at first and spent a year with the initial quest just sitting in my log doing nothing.

Ahhhh that makes sense. I've kinda been spammed with quests so much that I started ignoring seemingly less important ones. Didn't realise they could be linked. Thanks for the help guys!

i know the post is a little old, but do check the wiki ( https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Relic )for what to expect.. i didnt want to look quests up, prefer to let things happen.. but the Rimworld wiki is nice.. and this little bit of info was actually helpful..
ITS GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT TO EXPECT.. so do not look if you want to let it just happen..
