Why don't the batteries work after solar flare

I built two windmills, with three batteries, I connected everything but I just had a solar event and have zero power. Any help?

Solar flares mess up your power. Till it ends every thing electrical will be offline, wether its solar, nuke powered, whatever no electronics will work.

Solar flares cause induction...this makes in line voltage go crazy.
You better be glad it isn't more realistic, then all your electronics would catch fire without proper mitigations.

i think there is either a bug or a mod that hurts you... normaly, batteries have energy cables below them just like your wind/wood generators, but yours don't have those

What its just a solar flare it turns off all the stuff. It doesn't drain the batteries that is a zzzt event. Till it passes he can't run any thing that uses power in the base.

no... look at your batteries, normaly, when you build a new bat, it has automaticly 2 energy cables below it build. yours don't have those, for whatever reason... based on the look of them, they do have energy stored, but are not connected

so they worked when the generators ran out of wood :) but yea the solar flare even shuts batteries down. Not sure about the wires i just ran lines to them I guess.

Think of the Solar Flare like a short term EMI.
