Unreachable pens? What am I doing wrong?
First alpaca - no problem, second gets 'unreachable pen'. The pen sign is up and green. States it can hold 16 alpacas! Can't lead second alpaca in.
Help. LOL..sigh..

It took me a few beaten up animals to figure out some animals can't be led over barricades now. So Pill boxes with barricaded entry ways will prevent you from leading animals to a pen

Did you place a gate so that they can get past the fences?

BTW Vanilla/no DLC/modded but nothing that affects animals.

Hmm. Give me a few minutes, I'll run some vanilla dev tests.

Did you make sure that Alpacas (and male and female) were allowed in the animals tab of the pen marker?

Yes, both are enabled, do you have to uncheck all the other animals? I didn't try that.

Are you sure the pen is complete and enclosed and you have placed the pen "sign" in it? That's how you admin it in case you don't know.

First alpaca went into pen - no problem. The second one - 'cannot rope, no reachable pen'. The pen sign is up and the pen glows green. Male/female are selected. I just tried clicking to Only allowing alpacas. Still no, Just tore down and rebuilt fences, no reachable pen. Animal tab shows first one in pen one, all safe and sound. Second one is roaming free.

The pen info tab says it can hold 13 alpacas, there is only one in the pen.

I don't know what's happening for you, I've run so many tests and nothing seems to be going wrong for me. Sorry.

I have been struggling with that. Add some catflaps in any wall or barricade that might conceivably be between your pet and your pen.

screenshot your pen?

Yes, I was heavily barricaded. That could be it, gonna go check it out.
Thanks.
