ancient ruins, how they work?

the quest description said something about ancient treasures. all what i found was drugs.
did i missed something?

I found 3 glitterworld medicine, not that impactful, but it was early in the game

So far in the Hermetic Crates I've found advanced components, glitter meds, packaged survival meals, and luciferium. You can hack a comms console in some of them to trigger a supply drop which has usually been raw food for me (like berries). One of them had an ancient cryopod which had a dude in it wearing marine armor. I've only done two so far, and both of them had really low threat scaling, my colony wealth is still under 100k.

If you are working on a relic quest you usually get a few of these locations to go through and they contain terminals to hack that lead you toward the relic.
