Public Executions

I have two prisoners, a ritual spot and the option for public execution, but when I choose public execution none of the prisoners come up as an option to be executed. choosing execution option under prisoner tab just has them knifed in bed. How do I fix this?

i did not play such a ideologion yet but i assume you can only do executions on prisoners that are still considered guilty (if you wait too long they lose that flag)

Perhaps put them in nasty rooms so they break out sooner and (if I recall correctly) get a new guilty tag?

They need to be conscious and probably gulity
