Making the outside pretty

Hi all,

bit of a strange one this. While building my base I found that there is a small pond in the middle, and I know I could get a technology to drain it. But what I would really like to do is incorporated into a small garden in the middle of my base.

Are there any gardening mods out there? Is there any suggestions on how to beautify possibly even utilise this little pond? Would love a little meditation garden

Hmm, not sure what you´re after, but what -I- would do is put a growing zone around it and desigate it for roses, a few stools for park benches spread out and maybe 1-4 large or grand sculptures placed symmetricaly around it.

The only mods that come to my mind are beautiful water and nature is beautiful. Regarding gardening, it's in the base game. You could designate growing zones with different plants you wish to have in your "garden", add some benches, paths and voilà. You got yourself a garden.

Wall the area up so the pond is in it's own room, then remove the roof.
Add some flag stone walk ways. Throw in some tables and chairs for outdoor garden dinning, add art as well. You can also plant trees as well. Maybe have trees planed near the walls, then flowers as you get closer to the pond.

I use mods. One of mine has bridges, I would put a 2x2 bridge in the middle of the pond and put art there, making a fountain kind of deal.
