2: Pilgrims will occasionally come and visit the weapon in a reliquary, then may later send gifts (for example one person sent me a charge rifle for looking at the moral support smg I quested for).
3: it's not useless if you find value in it, cool looking buildings i the game aren't necessary, but better add to some people's enjoyment of the game, I for one like cool looking rooms.
When you add up the bonuses for a successful ritual, the benefits of a really successful ritual are certainly worth the effort. For example, an outstanding ritual can provide a +16 mood buff for all attendees!
As for the keepsake relics, use them yourself or put them on display. The pilgrims who come to visit them often reward you with gifts.
Heh, I'm playing the Archonexus run and so this is my 3rd base... I've got the hang of it by now ;) My temples are 10x10 and the reliquary 10x6. So, all I have to do is put them together and have a temple/reliquary 10x16.

That wasn't hard and didn't take long to build ;)
Nope, I've never used them. After 3 base restarts, the 5 pawns I move on to each restart have already acquired decent weaponry of their own by now.
Heh, so you venerate a phallic object...? ;p
No, but does give a +3 mood to any ritual done in that room.
