Ship reactor startup preparations
Hello.

What things should I definitely prepare for before the reactor startup?

So far I have:

1. made about 100 packaged meals, which should hopefully keep my 15 colonists fed. I'm also making about 50 wake-ups, about 100 of flake and I have 100 meds in storage

2. placed about 40 mini-turrets all over the base (mostly for distraction), and some of the higher grade turrets as well. I also have some defense positions.

3. prepared a big power backup in case my turbines/panels get destroyed

4. started making 2 allies, so that I can call for help.

I have about 330k wealth, but I'm planning to burn some of my stockpiles (for example: 18k of textiles, 1.4k of insect jelly) to lower it down a bit. I'm also probably going to destroy the majority of my high-tech equipment, and get rid of all my silver and art. I'm basically going to strip down my colony to bare minimum, and rely on drugs for mood.

Majority of my pawns don't have armor, but they have decent weapons. I'm expecting casualties anyway, so this shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Will all this be enough or should I do something more?

I'm playing 1.2 vanilla on adventure story diffictuly, so it shouldn't be that hard to survive, but the raids I get now are already brutal sometimes.

Thanks in advance.

You're going to experience like 3 or 4 raids similar to the last raid you had. That's about it. There's going to be a day or two or three between each.

If you're on 1.2 a Kill box would be the must IMO.
