RimWorld

Main Menu UI not loading
When I enter the game, there is no clickable UI after it loads, so I can't even go into my mods list, this happened right after making a new list and restarting the game. What can I do?

Delete your configs
%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config
or use an external mod manager like Rimpy.

Deleting the configs did not work, I've uninstalled + reinstalled which has done it! Thank you for the help :)

I had the same issue and did the same thing, My UI came back but now my mods no longer work, None of them show up even when installing new ones.

That's a different issue you can fix by following this other discussion. Hopefully.

I went into my files and deleted all of them and then reinstalled the game. It brought back the menu. Now I just have to worry about the game no longer functioning like normal.

Reloading the game fixed it.

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME!?!? Seriously, I've never, NEVER had a problem like this in 1.3! I was so looking forward to Biotech, but now I say "May it die in a dumpster fire!"

Mods cause errors and conflicts and it's not uncommon, even without major game updates, that you can experience serious corruption within your game due to them. This is a fact within all games, not just RimWorld, and if you're going to use mods you do so at your own risk.

Go to your library -> right click RimWorld -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Files

If that fails, try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

If that fails, uninstall the game, locate your game's folder and manually delete the files left behind by mods (they can cache files that the uninstaller doesn't remove).

If that fails, then you may be experiencing a hardware error that is showing up in the game. Verify your harddrive, RAM, gpu, cpu, and other components to make sure they're not damaged or dying in any way.

Fairly certain it's not hardware, because I was able to play Sonic Frontiers no problem just a bit ago.

Fairly certainly I just need to wait a bit longer for everyone to get their mods up to date... again.
