Neural supercharger speed
I looked at wiki and it says that there is no max for consciousness effect on moving stat, but ingame my pawn doesn't get any more speed the the supercharge. Anybody know why that is?

Assuming no mods, perhaps their speed is being offset by something else for an effective net zero gain. Wait, are we talking every single pawn that gets the neural supercharge, or just one or two in particular?

I heard that once pawns reach a certain speed it starts to slow down the simulation. So it looks like they aren't going any faster but in fact everything else is going slower. Dunno if that's it?

The wiki is wrong. Consciousness above 100% doesn't boost moving.

Not really, maybe at some extreme, but I've had colonists zipping around at 50+ c/s without issue.

Yes, if that's what the wiki says, then it's incorrect.
The neural supercharger is a mental boost and not a physical boost.
The benefit of it is +25% learning for one day and is offset by increased hunger.

As you can see, movement is unaffected.

Please record this next time, I really want to see pawns zipping around that fast.

the wiki says movement is affected by conciousness with no max, meaning I thought I would get a neat 10% speed boost.

Not gonna have a full list of the variables since Im not in game. I think it goes archotech legs, jogger, luciferium, go-juice, and go-frenzy. Not gonna be regularly maintainable b/c of frenzy, but if my math is correct. s= 5*(1.5*1.05*1.5)*1.8= 21.3 c/s. Don't know fs cuz once again not in game

Not really the matter, I just need to calculate them to move at effective 100% speed wearing cataphract armor and with a skin gland, for min-max reasons. Been able to get one of my pawns to the 120% necessary, b/c the skin glands cost 5% movement per. Not really sustainable since I don't have enough luci for all my pawns. Plus it really get's hard for my two indy-hand guys, who get an additional -16% movement from field/drill arms.

Haha, probably not going to happen. =p

I do have this old screen. It's not the fastest I've hit, I think I've seen 120 c/s with some really crazy mods, but I don't play with those often.
