Veggies are hardly worth trading in any case. If you are over producing, then reduce production and start producing profitable goods, such as artwork or animals.
Even then, sell to visiting traders rather than waste time going out to them.
It's a different story once you have transport pods though.
Yeah i thought of reducing my fields afterwards, but since the trade destination was just 1,2 days away i just wanted to sell it quickly.
before asking here i even thought like fu~~ it i make rations out of it but it´s just so much and i have even full fields outside ready to harvest since winter is gone now.
@Heretic:
Ah no, yeah could have mentioned that earlier. I just have the core game. Started playing a few days ago. My veggies are in a seperate cooled room behind the kitchen with the door open for everyone. My goods are allowed too. And with some of my colonist i can still carry like 150kg worth of items to trade.
Could it be that i need animals to carry something like that?...nah, would not make any sense i guess.
But there i can't click anywhere to tell them they shall take more then they need to eat on the way? Or am i missing something there?
Oh my god...Thank you. It was so simple. I did not recognize that i could click that green hook to disable it.
Thanks you all for your help.
