Raid points to size explanation
I've found plenty of info o calculating raid points and what-not, but what I can never seem to find is a rough translation of what a raid size would be based on those raid points. For example, say I find out my current points are 500. What size raid should I expect from that? What about 1000 points? Is the size doubled from 500?

Has a list of enemy units and their combat powers, those look about right. So look at which faction might raid you and what their units cost, then imagine any mix of those units equal to the total points of the raid.

Ignore the section near the bottom about raid strength scaling and ramp up factors, it's marked as outdated but should probably be removed as it's entirely inaccurate at this point.

Ah, okay! I saw that page but I didn't connect that the power points were tied to the raid point in that way. That makes sense, thanks! Been trying to find out so I have a rough idea of what to expect on a raid.

On a related note, do things like implants and psycasters still count toward wealth if they're installed in a colonist, or only when they're in your stockpile? I have a few psycasters that I got as quest rewards, but they're all higher level than and of my pawns can use, so I wasn't sure if I should just install them anyway or leave them sit until they can actually be used

Also know that different "Types" of raids have different raid point budgets or multipliers... for example a raid that drops enemies directly into your base.. has a very low point budget. (to make up for the inconvenience)

Thanks! Good to keep in mind

Implants do add to the wealth value of the colonist, so installing an archotech leg isn't going to make that wealth disappear. Psycasts I'm pretty sure do not, but they aren't worth a lot in a stockpile.

You can also spawn raids with specified point values using dev mode to see what they might actually look like.

From my understanding psycasts known by a pawn add nothing to their value. Neither does psylink level. The neurotrainers to learn abilities and the neuroformers to gain psylink levels do.

I've personally checked a pawn's value before and after teaching them psycasts and bumping their psylink levels. No increase in listed value.

But yeah unless you're hoarding a lot of them it probably won't make a significant difference in raid strength.

Gotcha, okay. Yeah, I don't.have many in my stockpile, but I wasn't sure how impactful it would be to keep them there while I wait for a more suitable pawn
