can't say I have yet, and thats after about 7 years ingame growing fungus. shouldn't get blight from a biological standpoint since its a fungus not a plant.

If you ever grown mushrooms IRL, you will quickly learn that they are susceptible to a wide variety of blights (bacteria, mold, algae, etc.)

I haven't, my parents don't let me do shrooms.

well the description reads that it is bioengineered... so i guess that's why no blight?

don't know, either way your food source is protected. Also for some reason you can grow them in hyproponics which doesn't make any sense, since you can't do that with devilstrand.

it is also weird that i can't grow them outside when i have a sunblocker. It needs a roof for some reason lol

It needs mountain overhead.

Mushrooms are immune to blight, this includes devilstrand and nutrifungus (and all other wild mushrooms not that it matters without mods).

Only fungal gravel needs overhead mountain. Nutrifungus can be planted anywhere but needs 0 light to grow.

it also needs a roof. Try to plant nutrifungus with a sun blocker

Ya that could use some improvement, there's no logic in it to see if there's a sunblocker or if it's just night or an eclipse, so it doesn't let you plant them without a roof assuming it will just die when the sun comes up. You can plant them and then remove the roof and they will survive if there's a sunblocker, not that there's any reason to do that.
