Psycast skills without titles
I have a pawn with good psychic sensitivity to whom I would like to give some Psy powers, but they are not able to perform "social" skill functions and the game warns me it's a bad ideato give them a title.
They also don't have the "natural" focus type, so the anima tree isn't an option.

I've not been lucky enough to ever see any of the neuroformers other than when the bestower grants them.

Is there any sure-fire ways to get these? Like if I haul a caravan all the way to the nearest empire settlement is it almost gauranteed to be for sale? (It's a really long ways away)

On the up side, the fine flooring does LOOK nice.

I'd add it to all the bedrooms if it wouldn't raise the colony wealth value so much, leading to more difficult raids (I have 24 bedrooms and 2 barracks, it would be a LOT of fine flooring).

If you persuade someone to follow you for science, you will only give them 50% psy sensitvity and the normal boni and mali for being blind. Only blind sight and the the ritual have hard extra boni.
I'm actually just testing some things. Thank you~
Sure, wouldn't want to keep you from testing these exact things. Not sure what the chance is though. Might be 50% like the other chances. Many rituals are missing numbers or even what they add in the first place unfortunately (I think 100% of the inspiration ones do?).
It just costs one bionic eyes and has no cooldown though.

Counts need fine floor in bedrooms.

OH, Excellent! That's my Baroness' next title anyway, so I'm prepared.
I guess I did read it...I was just reading ahead. :-D

The wood and stone one shouldn't add so much. Just the cloth and silver one I think.

Idk how I read over that. I think I might just always end with Baroness because I get that single neuroformer from somewhere else, since the title doesn't add that much. Thanks for clearing that up !

I'm making one final post in this thread, just in case it comes up in anyone's search in the future who has questions about this as well.

There's one more reason you may not want to give a title from someone who cannot DO social skills.

They aren't able to fast track honor by gifting slaves and gold to the Tribute Collector and instead are totally reliant on quests for honor gain.

My pawn who I did this with was up to Baroness before I even tried and figured this problem out though, so I guess it isn't a big deal.

True I completely forgot about that. Stacking honour past max title is useful for the permits though. It's a power increase without value increase too (for people who min max).

Yep...that's exactly what I was thinking and why I remembered this thread and added the info. I didn't think of it either, even though I was already doing it with my main titled pawn. :-/

Considering at one point I was considering renouncing her title (I changed my mind on that.. permits being the reason why) I'm not going to cry about it too hard.
