Pen and barn

I’ve pretty much got the pen system figured out but one thing. The barn is inside the pen and it’s door is the flap thing. But my main animal guy doesn’t seem to like the animals in the barn so he wastes a lot of time roping them out of the barn. Any idea how to remedy this?

Did you put a new pen marker in the barn by chance? If so, remove it.

The barn and pen are shown as the same area if you click on the pen marker, right?

The reason is that you have two pen markers with the same animals allowed. Therefore handlers will pull animals to the best pen which is probably outside because of the grass growing. To solve this either disallow the animals in the barn.

If want the barn door, but seasonal control for sometimes outdoors, sometimes not? I build a secondary fence in the barn. If you hold a door open, it also will join pens. Close to make field or field section off limits.

Don't build the barn 'inside' the pen, but rather adjacent to it.

I had mine inside the barn for years without that issue. It gotta be a 2nd pen marker or similar.

I’m sorry to have bothered you all but thanks for all the replies. I was using the large tribal curtain which I thought was a large version of the animal flap. Problem solved.

Ha ha! Ahh, we have all done errors like that!

My 1.3 big oops was I decided for my first tribal tree lovers to build a grand room of worship complete with guaranlen tree centerpiece! It was all done... wait... why isn't it working?

Oooh... must be entirely floored.... Whelp, time to build another temple.
