Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Farming Sprinkler question

I have the "Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Furniture" mod installed and researched sprinklers. I Put one down next to some crops and I can't notice a change of any kind. No change to fertility or growth % (the later at 100% throughout the day then down to 0% at night).

Does anyone have any experience with this mod and could help me out? Does it allow you to grow plants you normally couldn't due to low/high temperature or other conditions?

Try to test it out myself but I don't know what else to do and don't want to go crazy trying to work everything out haha!

In the morning when it turns on it applies a stacking growth acceleration effect. It doesn't change the listed growing speed, but you will see an effect if you have some crops covered by the radius and some not. It used to allow plants to grow in any condition, so you could grow crops indoors without a sunlamp by stacking sprinklers around it, I don't know if that is still the case, I know they have been nerfed quite a bit over time. It used to be like 8 sprinklers would grow a patch of devilstrand in a single day, but it's nowhere near that fast anymore.

Thanks so much for the response! So basically nothing I will be able to see numbers-wise but it should improve growth speed nontheless. Awesome! Will have to try seeing the difference between crops with/without a sprinkler and note the change.

Will also check the mod page to see if it has any changes listed.
