Need help: can't reform caravan bug

I had a quest to trade with some friendly faction. I form a caravan, they head out to the friendly camp with the items, finish the quest.

Now, they are all healthy, 100% mobility, concious, etc. BUT i can't reform the caravan. The button just isnt there. Splitting caravan doesnt fix it. They just chill there idly until they die. Wtf. Some basic quest causes a game ending bug? really?

My options are: attack, trade and split...
clicking on the actual are and camp underneath the caravan doesnt have the reform option too

Holy f, found the fix online. You have to right click back on your town and click enter. As a first time player, this is soooo unintuitive.

That...isn't the answer to the question you posted. You asked about reforming a caravan, not returning to your own base. Glad that you found the answer you were looking for, but you were not going to get the help you wanted here with that query.

That's because your caravan was already reformed. If there's a yellow dot on the world map, that's your caravan. Just click it and tell it where to go.

correct, game taught me that i had to reform caravan after reaching destination, through the tips on the top right of screen. But that only applied to enterable zones apparently.
