This was a couple weeks ago, so memory is not 100% confident. But am fairly sure that was reason I split the rooms.
I have already built the throne in the temple, but fortunely you can move those once they are built. I'll just have to get a real throne room made before I have another bestowing.
Lol, of course there is. Gotta love modders.
I was a bit bummed to find out you can’t have both in the same room, too, especially after planning my base around a throne room/temple. Not using the mod, just made other plans, but it’s taken forever to build a separate new throne because of my layout, so I feel yah.
For me, it took three tries..... I had a combined, then the no altars. So I built a new grand room with a Guar. tree. Oh.... temple room must be fully floored.... Whelp, onto third room built!
The combination with the tree would have been cool. Probably a mod for it!

Second room is the one with the tree in it. The moss area is unroofed. I originally wanted this to be the temple, but alas.... Looks great and really impressive, but the no floor allowed means no can do without a mod. Also the drawback of sand tracks everywhere...

Third room is my current temple being worked on. The hay area is temporary to build up some supply after randy caused my supply to drain. Breeding pair of thrumbos I managed to get and the offspring do eat a fair bit. But that square is just large enough for another tree.

All the doors because these are designed to be defensive positions.
Same here. I had a plan, dammit!
My original plan also involved getting the altar up and running for rituals, before the throne/room temple was actually dug out. I was going to just move it from where I first built it later. . . I didn't know you couldn't move a large altar. . . So at this point I'm sort of getting used to scrapping and redoing the plan in this game.
Appreciate the tip! I'm just going to stick with game default on this one though.
