Can they watch TV while in a hospital bed? The wiki says it requires chairs so I didn't even consider that.
Sweet, I didn't know that!
Thank you for the tip!
Tip with vital monitors, bed gets bonus if adjacent, so one vital monitors can bonus two beds.... or three if clever. Biosculptor gets bonus for cleanliness, so make sure those rooms are sterile to cut down times.
I have it set up so one vital monitor is doing 5 beds. You can get as high as 8, but I put them against a wall so one side is not available. The wiki has a picture of how to do 8.
If not for the wiki I would have never known, because it didn't occur to me that hospital beds don't need a "free space" on the side of them so can be crammed up together.
Thanks for the tip on the biosculpting. I was NOT aware of that, and didn't make it a 'clean room' like I did my hospital. Going to fix that now!
Yep, got that covered. I should have mentioned that in my original question as something I had already thought of. I appreciate you taking the time to reply, regardless!
Heh, I read all those in my first playthrough and don't recall that one. I turned it off after that.
I noticed the "Must be adjacent" the other day. Course I didnt consider if on an angle/corner to corner works...

The thing with the chairs is pawns will come sit in them to watch TVs set to cover the beds and provide social interaction with patients too.
Also a good thing to have is a storage room/cooler attached for medical goods other than the medicine on the shelf (herbal medicine, drugs, body parts, etc) to keep it all in a central location so the doctor doesn't need to travel all over to get the lung for Bob
For me, the touching corners diagonally is considered "adjacent" by the vital monitor. Thus a square has 8 "adjacent" tiles where beds can be positioned.
I double checked when I built my layout, that's the way it works in my game.
