At wits end with the "throne room requirements"
OK, so trying to get a pawn to acolyte. I've checked the requirements in the bio, and I am 98% sure I got them all, and then some!

It requires an 24 area throneroom, mine is 196.
It requires 2 lit braizers, I have 6
It requires a meditation throne, I have 1 in Jade.
It doesnt require columns for this rank, but i still have 6 jade columns.
It doesnt require instruments, but I have a piano already.
It has no work facilities or beds.
I also have two drapes in there for good measure.
Marble brick floor.

I don't understand what I am missing.

The room might be too big.

After a certain size, areas stop being counted as rooms.

probably the assigning of the throne, alternately double check that floors under furniture are finished and that throne is facing accessible direction etc

It should tell you which part isn't satisfied in a tooltip somewhere, like I know it will say as much on the promotion ceremony quest.

Most modded floors do not count as floors and will not satisfied the "all floored" requirement. This tends to be what gets people.

This was changed shortly after the DLC came out, shared throne rooms are fine now. I had one throne room for 4 nobles one game with no issues. I don't remember if conceited nobles have an issue with it, but AFAIK their only issue is doing work or not.

I haven't had a noble in a while myself, but I seem to remember having to use Fine Tile/Carpet flooring for my throne rooms. Regular tiled floors or carpets didn't cut it. Obviously ignore this advice if for some reason those floor types were added by mods (highly likely).

The "fine" floors are only required for higher tiers.

That was it. Must have missed that in the quest description. Assigned the throne to my noble and issue solved. Is now a dutch :)
