Blank world map on save fix ?

So this bug isn't new and most of the people who played at least once with mods knows that sometimes when you load a game with mods you can have this really annoying bug that renders the world map completely blank without any colonies showing up / no ways to move etc...
However a while ago I saw a post on steam about a way to edit the saves files in order to delete something and the map would show up again with everything on it, but I cannot find this post anymore so does anyone knows what do I have to edit in the save file in order to fix this bug ? Thanks !

I'd go through the steps to manually remove references to missing factions, but DPA has some options (disabled by default?) that claim to fix such problems, and I'm curious to see if those options work as advertised. No I cannot find a way to fix this bug , I've looked through the whole mod but I cannot find a fix , There is a modification that you can make to the saved file that was fixing this problem but either the discussion got deleted or it's on another forum that I cannot find anymore

And yes I've tried the following solutions :
- Deactivate all mods
- Reinstall the game
- Clean reset
- Re-arrange mods
- Placing Harmony at the top

After enabling DPA, did you go into its settings and enable the two fixes? The "fix missing factions" and "fix gray screen?"

I havn't given a try for this one , I've mainly checked for any missing files / corruption etc... I'll try this one then

Nope doesn't work unfortunately , still getting the empty world map

Do you know which faction / map feature is missing from your active mods, but active in the save?

Well apparently nothing is missing , I have 2 save one with the map fully functional and the other one where I "test" the save , the save always leads to a blank map so I'm trying to find the forum that once had a real fix for this problem by editing something inside the file

Well this bug got fixed with the help of the dub performance analyzer by enabling some of the settings ! For now it hasn't crashed for a while

just happened to me, i think i turned on some stuff in DBA for no reason and my whole map is gone
