Really buggy situation, colonist stuck in a loop.
I play vanilla, unmodded.
The game started as the 5 tribes people, and I'm far enough into it to have 8 people. I have to crafting spots, one above the other, with their circles both right of their squares. Both had identical build plans of:
smokeleafx4 do forever
smokeleaf do forever
they were indoors, with a wall on their left side.
I had two characters set to crafting, with one of them crafting as high priority, and the other not crafting due to lower priority. the high priority colonist carries 32 smokeleaf to their spots, but instead of dropping 16 off at one and then bringing the other 16 to the other station, he repeatedly walked from one square to the other. I had the speed set at max, so I couldn't quite tell if he was dropping off and picking up the smokeleaves repeatedly of if they stayed in his inventory. the game was making a beeping noise for every time he walked from one square to the other, which was quite rapid. This prompted me to pause the game to find the source of the noise, and when i seen him in action for another second, I drafted him and then undrafted him. This has always been my way of doing a hard reset on a colonist's to-do list. It worked because he dropped all the smokeleaves (as he would from being drafted) and then grabbed only 16 and sat down to craft.
The problem was far from game breaking, and was my first bug. Just wanted to bring it up in case others have had a similar experience and to see if it can be fixed.
note* I'm not going onto discord. :steamhappy:

Last night, I had ordered a pawn to strip a corpse. Then just stood there. Trying to select said queued tasks with another pawn would cause a moment of lag but still not select. Plus hud issue when frozen pawn on screen. No mods

While it is a different occurence than OP describes. A restart does usually clear a looped task error. Worse case can require manually dealing with the pawn or destroying, stopping something associated with the task.

But it is an extremely rare occurence.

your comment feels very condescending and in no way did you add any value to a conversation.
