Will Raiders Steal?
I've built a small, steel, double-doored building to function as a vault to store my silver and gold. But I'm wondering if it's actually practical or necessary to do that. If given the opportunity, will raiders steal my stuff? If so, will they prioritize certain items?

If they see something they like enough they will actually stop combat, grab it, and try to run away. This can often be very beneficial as you get a lot of free shots on them as they are fleeing. They don't see items through walls/doors so you don't really have to worry about making a "vault" to keep things safe. If left on their own, if you mount no defense, they will attack their way towards wealth hotspots eventually, but while engaged in combat they aren't actively looking for stuff to steal and will only do so when the opportunity presents itself. It can be amusing when you kill a few of them and the rest decide to "steal what they can and leave" and they pick up the weapons or loot dropped by their fellow dead raiders and try to run away. It's less amusing when sappers dig into an ancient danger at the edge of the map and grab the stuff inside then leave before you can get to them.

They WILL steal your stuff.

They go for valuable things. I was hiding in the corner of the map from a too big raid once and they set the place on fire and stole my fabrication bench and gold.
Haha. It was funny, but that was my bench, man...I needed that.

They left and I cleaned the place up.

from what i understand they wont MOST of the time. They'll only steal if your pawns arent attacking them but i could be wrong.
