Does this let me place thin rock roofs? There wasn't anything about that in the description
No. It lets you build artificial thick roofs that stop mortars/drop pods, like overhead mountain, but without the infestations.
Is there a specific reason you want to build "thin rock roofs?" Like I said in my previous reply they work exactly the same as constructed roofs, one is just natural the other is built. If I understood what you are after I might be able to think of a mod or workaround to do something similar, but I don't know of any mod that allows building thin rock roofs.
I can shave it back with the Clear Area function and then manually mess with the soil and whatnot to make it look natural, but then the roofs at the edge are Overhead Mountains.
It's a super minor thing, but it annoys me.
