Impressive Workshop?
I've noticed how colonists get the impressive dining room or bedroom buff, but there is no buff for an impressive workshop. Personally, I think this should be added because if my workplace was beautiful I'd be happier as a result.

Just a little tidbit.

Pretty sure they still get a mood buff in there it is just not *named* impressive workshop just like it is not a *impressive kitchen or hallway* they still get happiness from being there if it is nice.

But sure it could be ok with giving it names like that but there is a risk of *too much info* i guess.

Type of room doesn't matter and isn't linked to the buffs. If you have an "impressive workshop" and your pawns eat in there, they get the "impressive dining room" buff, and if they play some horseshoes in there they get "impressive rec room." The buffs are tied to the activities, those activities can be done in any type of room, general impressiveness of that room determines the strength of the buff. There are mood buffs related to a nice room pawns can get from working, like comfortable from sitting in a nice chair while working, and beatiful environment by having a lot of high beauty objects nearby. So having an "impressive workshop" is very much a useful thing to have, especially if you have a small table in there for them to snack on.

You don't need lots of high beauty objects and by combining dining room with rec room you can use the same artifacts to achieve both bonuses. This means you don't have to raise your wealth as much by duplicating high value objects in more than one room.
Here, I have just a superior billiards table, a superior poker table and a masterwork large sculpture. That's more than enough to get me both the bonuses I'm after from just one room.

As for Workshop, lol that is never going to happen. Whatever beauty I might add to a workshop will be more than offset by the ugliness factor of all of the stockpiles leaving items on the floor throughout. Anything left on the floor is untidy and hence ugly.

Separate stockpiles from workshops.

P.S. And amount of blood in your hospital... T_T

Nah... I'm happy with a somewhat impressive workshop. I see no need to bung in a statue or two or store the resources elsewhere. I value the efficiency more than a couple of points of buff for working in here at the cost of raising my wealth and the severity of Cassandra's ire ;)

My hospital is in a state of constant cleanup I'm afraid... too many injuries, too little time lol

I'm pretty sure even if there isnt its still good to have one since colonists can spend hours upon hours in there so you can get the 'nice enviroment' buff or whatever

By "high beauty" objects I meant a few "decent" stone/wood statues and some plant pots. A masterwork jade statue is quite a bit beyond "high." =p

Heh I don't accept decent, one masterwork item is worth two decent in the hand let alone a few ;p
All joking aside, I avoid placing any statues until my sculptors are capable of producing masterwork/legendary items. Until then, I sell off everything they make. When they do produce that sort of quality, then as you can see, just one of them is more than sufficient to get the bonuses I'm after.

I do the opposite honestly. I place all the ~normal quality statues made of crap materials around the base early game to ease moods, and I don't bother trying to sell them or make them out of better materials until they start getting to a higher quality and much more valuable.

Oh I agree, all bedrooms will get a small statue of decent quality. But everything will be made of stone or steel (wood in a tundra biome is worth more than gold dust lol, so that's not an option).
For the larger common rooms, I'll wait until I have something outstanding to put there and then it will provide double bonuses for 1 item.

AFAIK lab better to be separated from main workshop and build with sterile floor (it at least should give bonus to research speed).

No more research is being done... and the base was abandoned. I didn't see the point in dismantling the research bench beforehand though lol.
