Can't bury corpses.
I've tried to google it, but the only suggestion I can find is to check the settings of the graves.

I've got a bunch of dead raiders.

I've got a bunch of graves.

They are set to allow ANYTHING.

Pawns won't bury them.

The dead raiders are dessicated, maybe that matters? Though they didn't bury them before they rotted, as I expected them to, so I suspect that's not the problem.

I want to bury them, plus I don't have the components at the moment.

Anyway I figured it out.. Seems they are required to be in the "home area", I had the site a bit away from town.

You sure the corpses weren't just forbidden? Because I've killed raiders far outside my home area and still managed to bury them after unforbidding

Were your pawns perhaps restricted to the home area, and once you expanded that, they were allowed near the bodies?

Usually it is zones that are the problem with weird things going on.

One thing is that they are not bound to any zones while drafted, makes it very easy to forget they are set to be in the Home zone (or some other custom zone) once you un-draft them.

Check on restricted zones, make sure you have someone assigned to hauling, make sure the bodies aren't X'ed out (forbidden), and make sure someone who is assigned to hauling isn't prioritized to other duties.

What this guy said, also make sure that you've allowed rotten and (This might be from a mod I'm not sure) non rotten.
I've had this issue myself until I noticed that it wasn't checked.

I'm having the same problem, it was introduced in one of the 1.0 unstable builds. I'm positive it's a bug, as none of the above have worked (i.e. restricted zones, making sure the grave has the correct settings)

graves are tiresome imo, takes up too much space too after a while.. nowadays i just build a small house (with a stockpile called "crematorium") and i burn the corpses there. Obviously it should not be built using wood ;)

why burry them? they don't deserve it.
burn them or make a building without a roof and leave them there to rot.

not a good idea to leave them out to rot since you get debuffs from seeing corpses, the more the worse..

just remove homearea inside so no ones gonna clean inside. only the one who carries the corpes gets the debuff. i'm doing this since i start playing and didn't had any problems with my method^^

I bury em to keep score, mostly. Some games I cba so I cremate then. Or haul them to the Secret Freezer to let the dogs/boars eat some delicious human popsicles...

It's still helpful, though. As a noob, I had a bunch of enemy corpses to dispose of after a raid. Because I had prepared and restricted everyone to a safe area before the raid was underway, and then drafted my colonists that were going to fight and manually ordered them around, I forgot I had restricted everyone...

So, because the way the restricted zone was set up, they appeared to be fine, going about their jobs, but wouldn't go outside the zone to bury corpses.

Noob mistake, 'cause I'm a noob, but it was certainly confusing until I realized what noob mistake I made. :)

In 1.0 there is no 'bury' command, you have to 'haul' them and pawns go for a grave if there is one open, or a stockpile if there isnt.

I usually keep them in the nearest natural aclove, add a wall and door, and no roof, and let them rot in the sun. If I get/have something that eats corpses I install a freezer and use them as dog/pig chow.
