Cowboy hats and how they discriminate me

Hey guys,

just wanted to express my deep disappointment and anger about this topic.

Since i was a young hat loving man, i chose to wear soft french-looking berets, because thats the way i´m defining myself. I´m no french and it´s disgusting to play someone else all my life, people here often wear caps or other hats and dont treat me equal, often i just say "oui, my parents were french, excuse moi" and feeling bad afterwards.

I played this game a whole lot, for months, but then stumpled over an well researched article in the internet presenting me information right from the evil code of this "game", stating that people with cowboy-hats in this game get a 15% bonus to socializing.

I could simply not continue my save and will deinstall the game. The dev should be really ashamed of discriminating beret-wearing people and not properly representing them in the game. ( there aren´t even berets in the game! i had to mod them in!! )

ps: i´m mostly sure that cannibalism wasn´t implemented because the dev secretly eats human flesh but think about the possibility.

The game is called an "Alpha" all things are set to change, and so what? You're triggered because people with cowboy hats, one of the only hats in the whole game (Tuque, power armor helmet, cowboy hat, psychic foil helmet.) excluding the helmets, get a bonus so socialization it's balance.
Do you want your colonist to stay warm? Tuque.
Do you want you social colonist do that better? Cowboy hat.
And what?
People with cowboy hats on look better than people who have a hat made of HUMAN SKIN CAP DESIGNED FOR INSULATION!
So?
The game has a statistical bonus for wearing an item that doesn't add insulation, if it didn't have ANY statistical bonus, why would you wear it?
It'd be a useless item.
P.S.
If one or two people is upset about something.
The dev isn't going to change it.
Edit : I looked at your games. You don't even own RimWorld.

I guess steam is the end all be all to ways to have or own this game...some people /facepalm

I know people on both sides of this, the truth is they mean well in the end and 99% of them have some merit. Well, with one exception.
