How to trade with the empire without gaining ranks?

As the title states are there any mods or exploits that let me trade with the empire? I have a ton of mods that add in high tech stuff that I could just buy from the empire but I have to get a pawn up to the rank of knight to do so, any well I really hate dealing with pawns that become noble. I've tried searching through the workshop but I haven't seen anything.
