ooookay so the last 3 game sive played i have had heatwave start a day or so after start and then.... not end... at all, and i dont get any or event that would counter it out.

what the hell?

What story teller and what diffuculty? Are you using a custom start?
How long does it last?
What biome are you playing?
If it wont stop, play on a colder biome, it should balance it, you just get less growing time.

don't play randy random. his events are random. also they don't last for ever, week at most and 3 days in general.

Ive had heatwaves last seasons. Im currently in one on my current playthru. Its been going on for almost 2 seasons. Started second day of spring and im on the 12th day of summer.

TC: randy random is really random. Try phoebe if you want to just build, you'll never have to worry about anything

Missed that lol. From what ive read here many times, the developer doesnt really check the steam forums.

Have you thought about turning on the dev mode and just disabling the heatwave? It is cheating, but when you get something like a permanent heatwave, seems like those commands are there for that exact purpose.

I dont usually mess with events like that so im not sure where it would be. I was under The impression you could turn off events after they were started tho.....
