Flake addict help.
Hi guys.

I have one colonist with an addiction to flake.
I took all the flake and burned it in a camp fire so its gone now, thank god.
But i still have the problem of an addicted colonist.
Is there a way to rid him of his addiction?
Will time eventually heal him of this addiction?
Thanks :)

addictions will pass over time
if he is too much trouble you can put him in prison and release him when hes clean

no need to re recruit, once he is clean just releaseing him is enough
the friendly chats will keep his mood up
just dont release him before he is ready
the game has a nasty habit of having a supply drop full of the drug he wants just when they reach 99% cured
other then that, just like a rehab centre

Thanks... Thats what happened to beggin with. It was a pod drop with lots of drugs. lol
I was acctually in the process of burning it...but the colonists only burn 1 at a time. to it takes a while, he went on a binge and started smoking as much as he could. Just before i was done burning the drugs he became addicted... Lol.hahaha bastard!!!

I highly suggest calling in a pirate trader from another colony or such... use it to sell things at the same time... but yeah... otherwise i use throwable torches mod and just burn the area... it's faster

LOL you guys are crazy.

I dont mind my colonists smoking and drinking once per day.
But flake is different.

Since most of my colony profit comes from drugs trading using this mod:

I got lots of drugs in storage and from time to time, one of my colonist turns in to a Yayo or Flake addict, the best way i found to deal with this is removing that pawn`s ability to walk by cutting off one leg and implant a bionic once the addiction is gone :D

omg thats sooooo mean!

The traditional solution, it seems, is to give him a peg-leg (even though he doesn't need it). Unlike a normal leg, the peg-leg can then be removed without having to put anything in its place. So he now has one leg, which in Rimworld means zero mobility. He'll be stuck in the bed where the operation took place, so he can't cause any trouble while withdrawing. And since he's still considered a patient, other colonists will feed him and talk to him.
When he's clean and the addiction has vanished from his health tab, give him back his peg-leg (or a bionic leg if you have one, or even his own original leg if you have a mod that allows this)

They get REALLY sad and will break ALOT, I like to trap them in a room with 150simple meals and a bed, With access to a little out side center with a garden so he doesnt get cabin fever
