Building Bridges

I have a colony next to a river and want to build a bridge across it to make travel easier. It's too deep in the middle to build a regular wood bridge and the short length of concrete bridge I built seems to have either been washed away or covered in mud. Is there any way for me to get a faster path across the river?

(There are probably mods involved here, as something is causing the water level of the river to change and water to pool from rain. When mentioning this to another rimworld player they were confused.)

Did you finish the concrete bridge before it disappeared?

Yes, some were under construction but some were finished.

And the ones that were finished also disappeared?

[Deaddropping]

I believe so. Give me time for a little experiment, one was finished that was further out in the river, next time the river rises I shall see if it dissapears or not.

Alright, the bridges are disappearing under the water then reappearing once the water level lowers.
