The first is via an Item Recovery Quest. This usually pops up fairly early in the game as a scripted event. The first occurrence is scripted but thereafter it is random and extremely rare.
In one game I shall never forget, I experienced a 20 year long wait before it came again and then two more came after that lol.
The second is usually only possible in the late game... it will be purchasable from an Exotic Trading Ship. Again, random, but relatively frequent by comparison to the quests.
Other than that, there is still the other spaceship (complete with core) at the other end of the world. You will already be aware of its location and may attempt to travel there, claim it, defend it until it is charged up and then use it to escape Rimworld.
Good luck!
This was added in Beta 19, because AI Persona Cores used to be looted from Poison/Psychic Ship Chunks, but that Beta replaced the AI Persona Core the ships used to drop with the Advanced Component that we get in the current version.
Actually, no... You'll have to play the game yourself! ;)
But, for suggestions, know that you can't "force" the issue - AI Core opportunities will come when they come.
You can, however, use the devmode to magic one in if you're really hurting for one. There's nothing wrong with using the development tools to hack your game from "This is painful and I'm gonna go polish the bumpers on a moving bus" to "This is fun, again."
^--- This I didn't know! (Likely because I paused playing during Beta19. :))
also save your game right before you complete it.
then use one path of playing to complete it and enjoy the end credits.
use another path to either keep playing this same colony with your favorite colonists or go start over on a new tile...or even use the Save your Ship mod and keep a few people for another totally new playthrough.
In my current playthrough, I got 2 quests for AI cores before even researching the ship, so I was in no hurry.
In fact, I got the core through a radio message from a neutral community for 1500 silver.
the ship is ready to go but before I activate it I try to strengthen my base, that seems to be quite violent in the 15 days;
The attacks weren't that bad, half of my security measures would have been enough; At least glad to have finished the game.
I was of course not prepared for the extremely long final video;
