Grey screen?

in the midle of a game My screen turned grey, I could only see the U.I. Tried reload, didn't work, tried new game, it had a grey screen. deleted and reinstalled, new game had same problem. uninstalled mods, reinstaled, same problem. Deleted all files in appdata, reinstalled, didn't work.

Each time I launch I get the debug window with lots of red lines, can't figure it out.

Anyone else have this problem or know what I need to do?

can be an over zelous virus/system protection, look into blocked image extensions. Just one of the meny posibilitys with this type of issue

Thats exactly what I get in the middle of game. I have no idea how to fix it. USed to be able to run this game with no issue

I had the same problem. After I opened an Ancient Danger the screen just turned grey and the characters stopped moving. I just verified my game data via Steam and it worked again after loading the latest save.

I had same issue. For me, i went in options, turned on option about helmet visibility and game runs again.

No, that fix wasn't intentional :-D

I just tried that and it worked. How and why?

Had this before, only thing I had to do was restart the computer.

Ended up removing all of my mods and enabling them one by one until the error occured again (new game every time). Once I singled out the mod causing it, the game runs fine.

this problem is happening sometimes, I haven't figured out the cause, but you can save the game, and then quit the whole game, restart it and you can continue, if you're using a lot of mods, it might be some strange effect of mods, because I'm using a lot of mods :)

I had the same issue, but I did not have that mod. To fix i have quitted to main menu, removed the setting "Hat show only on game map" and then started the save.

Just had the same problem, just after opening an ancient evil, the gray hit. The restart game fix took care of it.
