Can't register name in game edition, help?

So I bought the name in game edition, started up the game and it didn't tell me where to go to register.

So I searched the forums and found this thread:

When you get there the options are log in or register. Well I've never been there before so.. register

After that it asks where you bought the game from the rimworld website or from steam. Well I bought it from steam so that's what I select. It logs into the steam website, asks me to verify "this" steam account, which I do and then asks what email to use

So I put in my email

Then it tells me that email is already in use, try again

So I check my email messages just to see if I can get in from there

There's an email that says I need to use the link there to complete registration. OK I'll use that

But, it just sends me back to the same exact log in page that asks me to please select where I bought rimworld:

Now I'm just stuck in a loop, everything I do keeps taking me back to the log in where it tells me my email is already in use, then it sends me another email with a verify link and the verify link just tells me to log in

For anyone looking for an answer for this issue (Email is already used by another user. Please choose another email), you don't need to register to Ludeon, just login in using your Steam account, but if you have already registered, just change your Steam email, then try to redeem your "name in game" again using the new email. Your Ludeon account and Steam account can't have the same email, because they are seem as different accounts.
