Prisoner Hiding Weapons?
My prisoner just died due to malaria, and when he died, he dropped 3 pilas, 3 bows, and 1 dagger. Is this a new mechanic or is this a glitch?

Lol sounds funny id like to know if this is intended as well

Sounds like a glitch, amusing though. The renaissance man would have given you a run for your money if he attempted a prison break!

I'm guessing he was the leader of a visiting group that you attacked? That's the only reason NPC pawns would carry that much stuff in their pockets. Caravans have all their stuff on pack animals.

Nope. He was with a tribe raiding party.

Caravans have all their stuff on pack animals.
The following two facts are immediately obvious to anyone who has looked at the caravan menu:
1) You can have caravans without pack animals
2) Able-bodied prisoners increase the carryweight

The logical conclusion would be that prisoners haul stuff. And yeah, you can easily end up with prisoners hauling weapons/armour if you take prisoners in a raid.

I had a similar incident, prison break and my 3 tribal organ donaters were gunned down. When they went down, they dropped around 1000 steel between the 3 of them. I was really confused, but grateful for the steel. I checked another prisoner and realized he was carring stuff as well. I found that prisoners have a hard time removing items you give them when you put them in a caravan. They dont drop them when they return to your home, they just hold onto them untill they are downed.

And you can't see that they're carrying the items in the gear tab?

You can, thats how i noticed my other prisoners were loaded up.
HunterAlpha1 Jun 24, 2017 @ 11:54am
Can you make them drop the stuff?

Not that i know of. I just executed them to get my stuff back. I was tired of having so many prisoners

After harvesting them, I hope ;)

No. I had too many debuffs from harvesting other prisoners organs. It really starts to build up after the third guy......
HunterAlpha1 Jun 24, 2017 @ 3:29pm
Oic I thought that if you ordered a psychopath to do the surgery and none of the other colonists either witness the surgery nor see any of the havested organs, that no one will get any debuffs.

Do the carried items persist on the prisoner pawn after ordering a colonist to strip the prisoner?
