Like the title says, if you have a titled ascetic they don't get a debuff due to not having a throne room or clothes. Seems to be eating nutrient paste like a champ. Pretty OP if you ask me, could be a bug

It's not a bug. The Ascetic nature overriding the royal urges is intended. Congrats on selecting a decent royalty candidate though, assuming nothing else is wrong with them.

You do still need a dignified throneroom for them to give speeches. But yeah, the ideal Royalty candidate is an ascetic with with good social skills. The ideal psycaster is a masochist with psychically hypersensitive (Drop a mindscrew on them, and they can chain cast all day long).

Thanks to the most recent update, their is literally no reason to make your royal your psycaster unless you want too. Put all the ones they get on someone else if they aren't the best candidate.

Hypersensitive, masochist, ascetic, good social skills, make for the best psycaster. Getting all those attributes on one pawn is the real challenge.
