Are you using mods?
Is the pawn capable of cleaning?
What is the exact message you see when you attempt to force a pawn to clean?
Same. I'm sit down to play RW, just for a bit, and I'm realize its already night. I'm spent my 6 day work off just like this.
Fortunately my gf did the cleaning while I was in front of my laptop. Try to find a girl, who doing all the dirty jobs while you playing. I mean.... ALL the dirty jobs... 😉
Put someone on cleaning duty (priority 1) then assign them to that area.
They will not be allowed to leave that area till the job is done. If game won't have them do it try brute force. (When they go idle job should be done)
When everything is clean to human standards set them back to unrestricted.
I've already done these. Still can't. I think there is a bug but i don't know how to solve.
There is no message when i try to do it. Just i can't. Even can't right click. And yes, I'm using mods but when i create the world, there was no bug. It's exist after a while.
I already have someone who is cleaner. But it's like they can't see the dirty floor. And they are allowed to come there. And of course priority is 1. But still...
I was talking about rimworld rooms :/ Ingame.
Agreed.
Even if nothing seems like it should matter, the issue does not exist in vanilla.
As soon as mods are installed all bets are off, as you just don't know how well some of the modders know what they are doing. One accidental use of the same variable or something else easy like that could throw a massive wrench in the whole works. Probably not that, my guess is more likely it is some weird mismatch between multiple mods.
I've fixed this by changing one floor tile.
Leave it out, and the dirt caused by your pawn running up and down with his dustpan becomes inconsequential. Now he must come back for it.
Dirt/garbage is created by movement.
