How do I force the game to start without mods?

Title.

Ever since the game updated to 1.1 it throws unending errors and locks up at the mods screen. As in, I can't click anything and have to alt-f4 just to get off the screen.

If I try to just boot it through the errors it crashes instantly.

How do I force Rimworld to boot without mods?

go offline on steam and boot the game and you wont have access to your mods so they wont load

If there are mods in your Rimworld /mod subdirectory, those will be loaded if checked no matter if you're offline or not. If they're only in the Workshop's subdirectory, they will not be loaded if you're offline.
