Trade caravan not completing quest

My caravan arrived to complete a trade quest. I have the goods I’m supposed to give them, but I get no option to complete the quest. I can trade the stuff I brought, but I do not get the quest items. I do not see the quest goods back on my map anywhere, and the quest says it’s still active even after trading the goods on my side of the deal. Any ideas?

When you visit the site, there's an option to complete the quest. If the option isn't available, there's something wrong with what you attempted to deliver. I've see this happen most with food requests, and the caravan eating some of it on the trip.

Simply trading isn't enough to satisfy the request; you didn't get the goods where they needed to go. The guy who made the request didn't get them, you sold them to his neighbor.

I think it might be an actual bug rather than just misinformation. I have the same issue but it's 25 pairs of Pants, I've got 25 pairs of pants and the "complete quest" option is greyed out for some reason. None of them are tainted. The only issue I might see is that there's a couple at 70% durability. The quest doesn't say anything about durability remaining on the pants though. So they should have been fine.

At least in my case, the quest description just says "normal+ quality" but when I arrive it says "(non-tainted)".

I had to go back as I thought just selling the goods would work. Instead you have to click "Fulfill trade offer"
