BUG offered a mission with location not revealed

Usually when offered a mission, you can click on some text near the bottom to "jump to" the place you need to go to see if you want to go there or not. This mission I'm asked to destroy a bandit camp, but the only text I can click on to "jump to" somewhere allows me to jump to reveal the location of my own freaking base. So I have no idea where the bandit camp is. I have not yet accepted the mission, just been offered.

Guess I'll have to save, accept, and then see if I like the mission location. Can always reload if I don't.

i've been having this bug as well. the only mod i have is 'prepare carefully'. are you running any mods on yours?

Bandit Camp spawns after you accept the quest, it has always been like that for me, so there is no bug.

And it is absolutely logical, since with the location revealed without accepting the quest first, you could go and destroy the camp without the quest...

Except there's no reason to stop someone from destroying the camp without the quest -- the group offering the quest wouldn't have to pay you, so it really doesn't make sense.

I think they mean it would break the programming if you could kill the raider base during the quest acceptance window. The only quests that spawn sites at the moment the player is notified are quests that do not have you choose rewards, I assume that is a program limitation.
